My story may be cliché, but it's was drives me to join the most prestigious force ever assembled, The United States Marine Corps (USMC). Apart from feeling that I was born to be a Marine, love of my country, and a will to prove myself, drives me to be one of The Few.
It seems impossible actually be innately guided to be a part of something greater than yourself, but I feel this way about the Marine corp. That being said, it would be the greatest honor to lead Marines in the USA's most elite branch.
To continue, I know America is far from perfect but it's my home and believe its the best country on earth. I don't necesarilly want to die for my country, but I will gladly answer the calling if it comes. To quote G S Patton “no one ever won by dying for their country, you make the other person die for theirs”
In conclusion, I feel I was born to be a marine. Also love of my country and a personal fire in me to prove to myself that I can be one of the “The Few, The Proud, The Marines”.
